General Manager

Steven has been in the construction industry for 25 years, a qualified builder he specialised in the building and management of high end residential homes for 15 years. Steven was employed as a Project Manager in 2010. Some of his projects include the refurbishments of TVNZ, ANZ Tower and more recently the 2020 Commercial Bay precinct. Steven's experience in project delivery and team culture serves him well in his role as our General Manager of Woods Glass NZ.

Bee Choo Lim

Technical Sales Manager

Bee Choo has been in the building industry since 1986, and since 1990 in the glass industry with Woods Glass. Her key role is major project glass specification, tendering and sourcing from a range of local and international suppliers to ensure the best glazing solutions are used. Bee Choo has a diploma in Technology (building) is a member of the NZ institute of Quantity Surveyors Inc. and has a GANZ Accredited Standards Advisor certificate.

Operations Manager

Graham joined Woods Glass in 2022 after a career spanning three decades in the aviation industry where he was engaged in senior strategic and operational roles covering people capability, policy and logistics. He has qualifications and experience in a number of areas including business management, aeronautical engineering, health and safety, leading and developing high-performance teams, Lean manufacturing and quality management systems.

Maintenance Manager

Lyal joined Woods Glass in 2022 as the Manager of the Auckland Service and Maintenance Division. A qualified glazier with over 30 years' experience in the glass and glazing industry, from apprentice to glazier to foreman to business owner. This experience in all aspects of the glass industry has given Lyal the fundamental skills and opportunities to be able to provide a quality service to the maintenance division of Woods Glass, offering our clients a Glass maintenance service that offers the best solution to their requirements.

Donovan Van Niekerk

Donovan Van Niekerk

Commercial Team Leader / Senior Estimator

Donovan started his career in the building industry as a commercial façade installer in 2006. He has since worked his way through numerous roles within the window and door industry which includes drafting, quantity surveying, sale and sale management. These roles have giving Donovan the fundamental skills and knowledge in order to help lead the Auckland based QS team and to help promote Woods Glass' high quality products and capabilities and to cohesively bring our clients visions to reality.

Financial Controller

Andrew has over 30 years experience in systems, consulting and finance in the commercial environment and managing projects and facilities in the not-for-profit world. He has overseen multiple high end projects from an operations side as well as having the technical expertise on the financial front. Andrew is Married with 4 adult children and 3 Siberian Huskies to keep his home life busy. Andrew still enjoys his life long passions, playing cricket and a Star Wars collector. Andrew fully embodies the Woods Glass team values.
John O'Connor

John O'Connor

Design Manager

John started his Façade Journey in Ireland in 2002 as an aluminium installer. John Moved to New Zealand in 2009 and started working with Insite Facades as a site Manager before joining Woods Glass in 2013 as a Project Manager. Over his 9 years here at Woods Glass as a Project Manager, John has been involved in delivering some great projects including Westfield New Market, Westgate Library, ASB Wynyard Quarter and most recently on Woods Glass new venture into aluminium windows and doors at Elm Apartments in Remuera.

Wayne has been in the construction industry for over 35 years, a qualified builder by trade. He has assisted many of New Zealand's top architectural practices with product design and building solutions for commercial interior fit outs. He has many year's experience in business management, Health and Safety, continuous improvement and has passion to grow teams to be the best they can be. Recent years moving into the commercial Façade and Glazing industry with a focus on operational improvements.

South Island Operations Manager

Mike has 20 years experience in the glass, glazing and aluminium trade in various roles including senior management. He is a trade qualified glazier and New Zealand standards glass advisor, Member of the NZIOB and has been with Woods Glass for 10 years. Mike looks after the South Island projects from conception through to delivery along with our strong South Island leadership team.

Quantity Surveyor

Nick has been involved in the Construction industry for over 20 years.  Beginning his career as an apprentice carpenter in 2000, Nick advanced into the field of quantity surveying achieving National Diplomas in both Quantity Surveying and Construction Management.  An employee at Woods Glass for 6 years as an Estimator & QS, he is also a GANZ accredited glass standards advisor.

John Witty

John Witty

Key Account Manager

John has been in the construction industry since 2010, the past 6 years have been spent in Aluminium Joinery & Glass. His role entails managing key accounts, estimation & tendering, glass procurement & providing technical information. John studied a Diploma in Construction Management & is a current NZ Glass Standards Advisor.
