PROJECT OVERVIEW
At Woods Glass, we had the privilege of contributing to the stunning transformation of the new QT Auckland Hotel, a project renowned for its unique design and complex architecture. This conversion project involved a meticulous design process that seamlessly integrated the building’s existing elements, resulting in a truly remarkable space.
Our team expertly installed a range of aluminium and glass products, enhancing both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the hotel. The design of QT Auckland is inspired by the oyster, with the weathered, rough textures of the shell’s exterior contrasting beautifully with the smooth, colorful, and luxurious interiors. Each of the over 35 unique guest room floorplans features unexpected elements such as curved walls, exposed concrete, and asymmetrical layouts, all coordinated around the structure’s original framework.

- Aluminium Windows and Doors: Utilising the OMEGA systems, providing sleek, durable, and modern fenestration solutions.
- Artemis and Curva Balustrades: Custom-designed balustrades that enhance safety while adding an element of bespoke elegance.
- SkyLign Alpha Skylight Systems: State-of-the-art skylights that flood spaces with natural light, enhancing the ambiance.
- Electrochromic Glass Panels on Level 6: Smart glass with light sensors and a smart controller, allowing for individual adjustments according to user requirements and preferences.
